Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Pump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a commercial pump truck and preforming various septic related services at multiple locations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and the ability to operate different types of trucks and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other commercial vehicles
- Transporting to designated locations for septic related services
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other appropriate equipment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (e.g., tanker, hazmat)
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role in the septic industry
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
